pharmachologic effect
Has a pronounced spasmolytic (relieving spasm) effect.


Indications for use
Spasm of the stomach and intestines, spastic constipation, attacks of cholelithiasis and urolithiasis, stenocardia, spasm (sharp narrowing of the lumen) of peripheral vessels.


Mode of application
Inside to 0,04-0,08 g 2-3 times a day; intramuscularly 2-4 ml of a 2% solution; intravenously (slowly) 2-4 ml of a 2% solution, if necessary intraarterially (obliterating endarteritis / inflammation of the inner lining of the arteries of the limbs with a decrease in their lumen).


Side effects
Dizziness, palpitation, sweating, a feeling of heat, allergic dermatitis (skin inflammation).


Contraindications
Hypertrophy (increase in volume) of the prostate and glaucoma (increased intraocular pressure), especially the closed-angle form.


Form of issue
Tablets of 0.04 g in a package of 100 pieces; ampoules with a capacity of 2 ml, containing 0.04 g, in a package of 50 pieces.
